What's LiFePO4 battery?

The lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery, also called LFP battery, is a type of rechargeable battery, specifically a lithium-ion battery, which uses LiFePO4 as a cathode material. LiFePO4 batteries have somewhat lower energy density than the more common lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2) design found in consumer electronics, but offer longer lifetimes, better power density (the rate that energy can be drawn from them) and are inherently safer. Winston Battery Limited is the biggest producer in China until CALB was founded in 2007 by China Aviation Industrial Limited,which is a leading state owned compay.with big investment on production line and research of new lithium technology,CALB has a bigger scale than winston battery limited from 2012. production facility of CALB located in Luoyang includes 5 factories and over 3,000 employees. over 200 researcher and expert working in R&D department help CALB improve its technology year by year. the quality of CALB improved a lot. the main market of CALB are electric bus companies,CALB not only provide battery cells but also provide full power solution for electric vehicles. they integrate battery cells into battery packs for electric vehicles with BMS inside. they created a big market.

Sinopoly Battery Limited is a form join venture between thundersky Battery (form name of Winston Battery) and Shouchang capital.Shouchang Capital is a public company in Hongkong stock exchange market. with 1 year cooperate, Sinopoly and Thundersky break up conflict and fight in court. Thundersky changed its name to Winston Battery and Sinopoly purchased a lithium battery factory in liaoyang,north east of China, and they start produce lifepo4 battery themselves.

with 5 years high speed development, Sinopoly has 2 lifepo4 battery factory now. their new lifepo4 battery factory located in Tianjin with great production lines.
Winston battery has much more model battery cells, with capacity of 40Ah, 60Ah, 90Ah, 100Ah, 160Ah, 200Ah, 300Ah, 400Ah, 700Ah and 1000Ah.
CALB battery has 5 battery cells with capacity of CAM72, 100Ah, 180Ah and 200AH (CA200 and SE200).

Sinopoly Battery has 4 different battery cells and the capacity of the lifepo4 battery cells are 40Ah, 60Ah, 100Ah and 200Ah.
