CATL breaks through 1,000 kilometers for the first time in the range of pure electric new energy vehicles

On June 2nd, CATL Battery introduced that the ZEEKR 001 with a range of 1,000 kilometers (CLTC comprehensive operating range of 1,032 kilometers) equipped with CATL’s CTP3.0 Kirin battery has been delivered at CATL’s headquarters on June 1st. Robin Zeng, Chairman of CATL, and An Conghui, CEO of ZEEKR Intelligent Technology, attended the delivery ceremony.

This time, CATL took the lead in achieving this - the ZEEKR 001 equipped with Kirin battery has pushed the range of pure electric new energy vehicles to the level of 1,000 kilometers for the first time.

In August 2022, CATL and ZEEKR Intelligent Technology jointly announced that the CTP3.0 Kirin battery will be first launched on the ZEEKR 001 model to break through a range of 1,000 kilometers. In April 2023, the Kirin battery helped the ZEEKR 001 with a range of 1,000 kilometers challenge multiple real tests. The ultra-long range of 1,000 kilometers expanded the travel margin for users and got rid of mileage anxiety.
