How should the power lithium battery of electric vehicles be maintained?
Electric vehicles have gradually entered the lives of the public and have become a car purchase choice for more consumers. Although electric vehicles have brought more convenience to people's lives, at the same time, the maintenance of electric vehicles cannot be ignored. Only by maintaining them diligently can the service life of electric vehicles be prolonged.
1. Correctly grasp the charging time
During electric vehicles, the charging time should be accurately grasped according to the actual situation. The charging frequency should be held by referring to the usual frequency of use and mileage. During everyday driving, if the electricity meter indicates that the red and yellow lights are on, it should be charged; if only the red light is left on, stop running and set as soon as possible. Otherwise, the battery will be over-discharged, and its life will be seriously shortened. After fully charged, the running time is short, and the charging time should not be too long. Otherwise, it will be overcharged, and the battery will heat up. Overcharge, over-discharge and undercharge will shorten the battery life. In general, the average charging time of the battery is about 10 hours. If the battery temperature exceeds 65¡ãC during the charging process, stop charging.
2. It is strictly forbidden to be in a state of power loss when the battery is stored
The power loss state refers to the battery not being charged in time after use. When the battery is stored under depletion, sulfation is easy to occur. The lead sulfate crystals adhere to the electrode plate, which will block the electric ion channel, resulting in insufficient charging and a decrease in battery capacity. The longer the idle time in the power-deficient state, the more severe the battery damage. Therefore, when the battery is not in use, it should be recharged once a month to maintain the battery's health better.
3. Try to prevent violent stepping and acceleration
In the course of use, if the continued mileage of an electric vehicle suddenly drops more than ten kilometres in a short period, at least one battery in the battery pack likely has a problem. When the electric vehicle starts, carries people, or goes uphill, try to prevent it from slamming and accelerating, forming an instantaneous large current discharge. The recent high release can easily lead to the appearance of lead sulfate crystals, which will damage the physical properties of the battery plates.
4. It is strictly forbidden to expose to the sun for a long time
An excessively high-temperature environment will increase the battery's internal pressure and cause the battery to lose water, cause the battery activity to decrease, and accelerate the ageing of the electrode plate.
5. Common fault detection and treatment methods of battery
During the daily use of the vehicle, you may encounter a situation where the engine cannot be started due to insufficient battery power or damage. In this case, you can use the power supply on other vehicles to create in parallel. The specific methods are as follows:
First, use a jumper wire and connect the positive poles of the two batteries at both ends;
Secondly, the other jumper wire is connected to the negative electrode of the battery of the power supply vehicle and the negative electrode or the negative grounding wire of the battery of the deficient electric vehicle, respectively;
Third, adjust the position of the wire so that it does not interfere with the moving parts of the engine compartment, such as engine tape; the vehicle that supplies power should be started first, and then the car with a loss of electricity should be started after 1 minute. After starting, the engines of the two vehicles are idling for about 3 minutes, and the wires should still be connected during this time£»
Finally, removing the wires is opposite to the order of connecting. At this time, the engine of the power-supply vehicle can be turned off, but please do not turn off the engine of the tramcar.
