Honda and CATL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CATL") signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement on new energy vehicle power batteries to strengthen the promotion of electric vehicles and accelerate the strategic partnership. This strategic cooperation will cover areas such as joint development, stable supply, and recycling of power batteries.

Through this cooperation, Honda will obtain a stable supply of batteries from the CATL, which are mainly pure electric vehicle (BEV) batteries. New energy vehicle models
produced in China equipped with Ningde era power batteries are expected to be launched on the Chinese market first in 2022. In the future, the two parties will also discuss expanding cooperation in the global field.
