BYD Energy Storage Debuts Integrated Residential Solutions at Key Energy 2025

Shenzhen/Rimini, March 18, 2025 — BYD Energy Storage, a division of BYD Co. Ltd., has expanded its award-winning Battery-Box product line with the launch of the Battery-Box HVE, a modular residential energy storage system. Paired with the new Power-Box SH3/TH Series hybrid inverters, this marks BYD’s first fully integrated residential energy solution. The announcement was showcased at Key Energy 2025 in Rimini, Italy, emphasizing BYD’s commitment to innovation in renewable energy.

Battery-Box HVE: Modular Design for Maximum Flexibility

Designed for European markets, the Battery-Box HVE offers two module types:

• HVE4.2 Module: 4.29 kWh, 76.8V, compact 345x660x140mm design (42.1kg).

• HVE6.4 Module: 6.45 kWh, 115.2V, slim 499x660x140mm profile (61.1kg).

The system allows mix-and-match configurations within a single tower, starting at 6.4kWh and scaling to 23.6kWh per tower. By connecting up to three towers in parallel, users can achieve a total capacity of 70.92kWh. Its 140mm depth makes it the slimmest solution in the Battery-Box family, supporting wall or floor installation. Advanced features include remote diagnostics, OTA updates, and a 15-year warranty, backed by BYD’s proven plug-and-play installation and safety standards.

Power-Box SH/TH Inverters: Efficiency Meets Reliability

• Power-Box SH3/3.7/4.6/5/6K (Single-Phase):

  • 35A charging/discharging current, 97.7% efficiency.

  • Full backup with 200% peak power and seamless grid switching.

• Power-Box TH5/6/8/10/12/15K (Three-Phase):

  • 98.2% efficiency, IP66-rated durability.

  • 150% peak output, <10ms backup switching, optimized for high-power PV modules.

Both inverters feature 24/7 monitoring, remote diagnostics, and firmware updates, ensuring smart operation and maintenance.
