From March 24–28, CALB (China Aviation Lithium Battery) made a groundbreaking appearance at Singapore Maritime Week 2025, unveiling its advanced marine power battery systems under the theme "Embracing the Future of Marine Electrification." The company demonstrated its leadership in sustainable energy solutions for global shipping.
As a pioneer in marine electrification, CALB offers tailored battery products (cells, modules, packs, and systems) for diverse maritime applications. Its solutions—boasting high power, extended range, safety, and longevity—have earned certifications from CCS, DNV, ABS, and RINA, with successful global deployments.
CALB launched its 2C fast-charging L173F163 cell, featuring low-expansion graphite and high-kinetics electrolyte, enabling sustained 2C and peak 4C charging while maintaining cycle durability. The supporting battery system will enter mass production in Q3 2024.
Also showcased was the L173F320 long-life cell, integrating high-density materials and stability-focused design to achieve a 12-year lifespan—a global first in marine battery innovation.
CALB debuted the world’s first walk-in containerized power solution using 320Ah cells. Housed in a 20-foot container, it enables modular deployment with a 5-minute robotic installation system and megawatt-level management, serving cargo ships, port vessels, and luxury yachts.
By merging cutting-edge technology with scalable solutions, CALB is steering the maritime industry toward a cleaner, electrified future.
