On December 12, 2024, the second Hithium Eco-Day, themed "The Freedom of Energy, The Revolution of Life," was successfully held in Beijing, China. During the event, Hithium unveiled three groundbreaking products: the ∞Power 6.25MWh 2h/4h full-scenario high-capacity Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), the world’s first specialized sodium-ion battery for utility-scale energy storage—∞Cell N162Ah, and the installation-free home microgrid system—HeroES.

∞Power 6.25MWh 2h/4h: A New Era in High-Capacity Energy Storage

Hithium introduced the ∞Pack+ platform, designed to deliver high-capacity, standardized, and scenario-based energy storage solutions with enhanced maintainability. Based on this platform, the ∞Power 6.25MWh 2h/4h BESS was launched, featuring two configurations: a 2-hour BESS with 587Ah cells and a 4-hour BESS with 1175Ah cells. Both configurations are optimized for extreme conditions, such as desert environments.

This innovative system redefines traditional energy storage by decoupling core components like power, thermal management, control, fire safety, and output, shifting from tightly integrated systems to loosely coupled ones. This approach opens new possibilities for energy storage, fostering a more dynamic industry ecosystem. Global deliveries for the ∞Power 6.25MWh 2h/4h BESS are slated to begin in Q2 2025.

∞Cell N162Ah: Pioneering Sodium-ion Batteries for Utility-Scale Energy Storage

Hithium also revealed the ∞Cell N162Ah, the first sodium-ion battery designed specifically for utility-scale energy storage. This battery leverages advanced materials, including a polyanionic cathode and hard carbon anode, along with a specially formulated weak bonding electrolyte. It boasts a cycle life exceeding 20,000 cycles, excellent performance across a wide temperature range, high round-trip efficiency, and a state of health (SOH) of 70%.

The ∞Cell N162Ah is now available for global sampling, with mass production planned for Q4 2025, signaling a significant step forward in the adoption of sodium-ion technology for large-scale energy storage applications.

HeroES: Revolutionizing Home Energy with Installation-Free Microgrids

Hithium’s HeroES system marks a breakthrough in home energy management. This installation-free microgrid system consists of the smart storage module (Storage series) and the smart control module (SynergyBox). Designed for ease of use, HeroES requires just 30 minutes for initial installation—ten times faster than traditional systems—and reduces installation costs by two-thirds.

Equipped with Hithium’s proprietary intelligent algorithm, HeroES enhances home energy efficiency by 10% through adaptive energy management. Its modular design allows for scalable, plug-and-play configurations, enabling a flexible and smart home energy solution. Global deliveries for HeroES are set to begin in Q3 2025.
