In Johor, Malaysia, under clear skies, GDS data center park hosts orderly container setups, a flagship of Narada's green data center initiative along the Belt and Road. These containers house Narada's advanced lithium battery systems, delivering high-voltage, high-power backup solutions crucial to data center operations—akin to the heart, ensuring stable power and uninterrupted service.
Narada's lithium battery systems offer exceptional safety, high-rate capability, and durability, with compact footprints, smart management, and minimal upkeep. They support discharge rates from 0.5C to 6C, ideal for sustained high-power demands lasting from 10 minutes to 2 hours—a perfect fit for comprehensive data center coverage.
Since 2023, Narada has supplied integrated container backup power solutions, including lithium batteries, electrical systems, fire protection, and weak current setups for GDS's Johor phase. Completed in just 14 months, this project set a new standard for China's data centers, emphasizing prefabrication, modularization, digitization, and low-carbon technology for global use.
"With Southeast Asia's rapid adoption of AI, 5G, and big data, local demand for data centers has surged," remarked Yunhao Zhang, Narada's domestic data business manager. "Narada's contracts for the GDS Johor project exceed 100 million yuan, poised to drive Malaysia's digital economy forward."
As data centers expand, reliable backup power becomes vital, not only ensuring continuous operation but also prolonging equipment lifespan. Custom solutions are key, such as Narada's dual high-voltage control system tailored for KT, a leading South Korean telecom firm, ensuring uninterrupted operation through redundant systems.
Narada's modular redundancy design simplifies installation and expansion, making their lithium battery systems a preferred choice globally. Partnering with UPS giants like Eaton, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, and Fuji underscores Narada's leadership in high-efficiency, low-load energy solutions for large-scale data centers worldwide.
