One of our new customers from Canada recently purchased 30pcs of BYD 3.2V 138Ah blade LiFePO4 battery cells for an electric vehicle.
BYD 3.2V 138Ah blade battery is a lithium iron phosphate battery with a special structure. Its core feature is that the battery cell is flat and long, similar to the shape of a blade.
Technical advantages:
1. High energy density: The energy density of this cell is greater than 170wh/kg. This means that at the same volume, the blade battery can store more energy, thereby increasing the vehicle's range.
2. High safety: The blade battery uses a multi-layer structure and thermal isolation technology to effectively prevent the occurrence of internal short circuits and thermal runaway in the battery.
3. Long life cycles: The cycle life of this cell exceeds 3,000 times. Under normal use conditions, the lifetime can reach several years, reducing the user's maintenance cost.
4. Fast charging: The blade battery supports high-current fast charge, which can replenish a large amount of power for the vehicle in a short time, greatly facilitating the user's daily use.
Due to the special shape of the blade battery, it is very easy to deform during transportation. To ensure the safety of its transportation, we customized wooden boxes for these 30 battery cells and filled the packaging with foam to prevent the batteries from shaking and bumping during transportation.
The 30 cells are packed in 6 wooden boxes, with a total gross weight of 132kg.
Regarding shipping, the customer chose the DDP shipping option. The goods will be shipped by sea to the port of Canada, and then UPS will pick up the goods and deliver them to the customer's address. During the whole process, customers do not need to handle customs clearance by themselves, just wait for the receipt of goods.
