We recently provided a design solution of a 51.2V 229KWH battery energy storage system for a new customer from the United States.
Description of the customer's application:
1. Application scenario: Light commercial application power supply; Site is on Time of Use utility billing. One scenario is to charge battery from utility at off-peak rates and then use battery power at partial peak and peak times if solar is not enough.
2. Energy: Daily energy usage may be as high as 220kWh, and it is hoped that the battery can supply power for one day.
3. Inverter: Using a 12kW LuxPower split-phase inverter (1ph 110V, Split phase 220V, 3ph 220V). The customer requires flexibility in inverter configuration. Using 51.2V inverters can get different outputs through different configurations.
4. Voltage: The battery voltage must be set to 51.2V.
5. Load power: The peak load is 10KW. At 51.2V, the peak current is about 195.3A.
Based on customer needs, we provide customers with the following battery solution.
Solution:
-The battery system is built with 3.2V 280Ah EVE LiFePO4 battery cells.
-Each 51.2V 280Ah battery pack is composed of 2 of 25.6V280Ah modules in series and equipped with a 16S 200A BMS.
-Using 16pcs 51.2V 280Ah battery packs in parallel to get a 51.2V 229.376KWH battery system.
