At Solar & Storage Live (SSL) 2024, CATL introduced the TENER Flex rack energy storage system, enhancing its TENER series with a revolutionary solution that emphasizes flexibility, safety, and performance, driving the global green energy transition to meet market demands.
Earlier this year, CATL launched the TENER Base in Munich, a containerized energy storage system that quickly gained acclaim for its safety features, zero degradation for the first five years, and over 6 MWh energy output. This innovation reflects CATL's commitment to adapting to clients' evolving needs.
In response to geographical challenges in the UK and Europe, CATL developed TENER Flex as a compact solution that maintains high safety, longevity, and energy density. "Flex" signifies enhanced usability, allowing the system to adapt to varied terrains, climates, and energy storage scenarios while retaining the signature zero-degradation quality.
Flexible Scalability and Deployment
TENER Flex features a space-efficient, back-to-back, skid-mounted configuration, enhancing operational flexibility. With a string power conversion system (PCS) option, it simplifies installation and integrates smoothly with existing infrastructures, making it suitable for large-scale projects needing significant end-of-life capacity storage.
Flexible Power Distribution
TENER Flex accommodates diverse power needs for industrial and residential applications, supporting both string and centralized PCS across 600V to 1500V. Its independent rack design boosts reliability, minimizing downtime and maintenance costs while scaling to meet energy demands of any project size.
Flexible Operating Environments
Designed for extreme conditions, TENER Flex operates in temperatures from -40°C to 60°C and at altitudes up to 4000 meters, with an IP56 rating for moisture protection, ensuring dependable performance in urban and challenging environments.
