MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct 24, 2024 – Sungrow took center stage at the All-Energy Australia event held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, presenting its latest advancements in renewable energy technology. Key highlights included the next-generation liquid-cooled energy storage systems, PowerTitan 2.0 and PowerStack, alongside new residential hybrid inverters and battery solutions. Recognized as one of the largest renewable energy exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific, All-Energy Australia provides an essential platform for industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to exchange insights on cutting-edge sustainable energy solutions.
Joe Zhou, Sungrow’s Vice President for APAC, remarked, “As the world—and Australia in particular—moves decisively toward renewable energy, Sungrow remains at the forefront of innovation. We are dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art, reliable solutions that meet Australia’s unique energy demands, supporting the country’s ambitious sustainability goals and driving a more resilient, renewable future.”
Among Sungrow’s standout innovations is the PowerTitan 2.0, an intelligent liquid-cooled energy storage system designed to maximize both efficiency and safety. With a round-trip efficiency (RTE) of 89.5%, the PowerTitan 2.0 integrates advanced safety features and Sungrow's proprietary Stem Cell Grid Tech, enhancing grid stability and optimizing power quality.
The PowerStack, a liquid-cooled commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage system, was another key feature at the event. It minimizes on-site commissioning time and incorporates AI-controlled thermal management, reducing heat loss by 33% and maintaining temperature variations within 2.5°C. The system delivers up to 88% efficiency, ensuring high performance and dependability.
Sungrow also showcased its SH25T Hybrid Three-Phase Inverter and the SBH High Voltage LFP Battery Solution, offering comprehensive whole-home backup capabilities. With a battery capacity of up to 160 kWh and seamless off-grid compatibility, this solution promotes energy independence by optimizing self-consumption and reducing electricity costs.
Scott Su, Technical Service Director of Sungrow Australia, highlighted Sungrow’s role in supporting Australia’s ambitious renewable energy targets. “As Australia advances towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 43% by 2030 and sourcing 82% of its electricity from renewables, Sungrow’s products cater to a range of needs—from residential rooftops to commercial spaces like offices and warehouses. We provide the ideal solutions for a smooth transition to clean energy while ensuring a premium user experience.”
Sungrow Australia is at the forefront of this green transformation. With a significant market presence, Sungrow powers over 35% of both the residential and C&I PV sectors, holding a 15% stake in the utility market. Supported by a dedicated team based in Sydney, Sungrow is not only leading innovation but also reshaping Australia’s energy landscape, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable economy.
