On September 10th, local time, RE+ (Solar Power International) was held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, USA. This event is the largest professional solar trade show in North America and one of the most influential international exhibitions in the global solar industry. CALB made a remarkable appearance in the U.S. market, showcasing its comprehensive solutions for large-scale power, commercial and industrial, and residential energy storage applications.
As a battery technology leader, CALB has consistently driven energy transition and technological innovation. In 2023, the company was the first to define and globally launch the 314Ah high-energy-density, long-life energy storage cell and its corresponding solutions, which have been well-received in overseas markets with significant shipments. During this exhibition, CALB presented its newly launched "Zhijiu" series of energy storage products to the North American market.
The second-generation 314Ah 2.0 energy storage cell is the first in the industry to achieve a cycle life of 15,000 times for mass-produced products, with zero degradation in the first 1,000 cycles. Complementing this innovation are the 373kWh liquid-cooled outdoor cabinet and the standard 20-foot, 5MWh liquid-cooled container, designed for large-scale commercial and industrial as well as power storage applications overseas.
The commercial and industrial energy storage system solution utilizes a single-cabinet approach, offering a lifespan of up to 15 years with a system charge and discharge efficiency of up to 95%. It supports peak shaving, frequency regulation, harmonic control, and high-performance applications such as integrated wind-solar-storage systems. The 5MWh liquid-cooled container features industry-leading component design, achieving higher usable energy and efficiency while reducing initial setup costs. It has undergone rigorous testing for multi-environment adaptability and complex operational reliability, meeting and exceeding stringent standards such as UL, IEC, and NFPA, making it suitable for diverse customer applications.
The newly released 392Ah energy storage cell and associated container components are fully compatible with the existing 5MWh container production line, offering the best solution for 6.25MWh containers and the fastest mass-production capability for 6MWh+ systems in the industry.
The next-generation large-capacity 625Ah+ laminated energy storage cell, featuring over 440Wh/L energy density, is designed to support up to 6.8MWh+ in a 20-foot container, maximizing the return on investment for power stations.
Additionally, for residential energy storage and peak shaving solutions, CALB showcased products such as the 5kWh low-voltage stackable unit and the 2.7kWh high-voltage integrated system.
