Hithium Debuts at Smart Energy Week 2025 and Establishes Japan Office to Enhance Presence in Asia-Pacific

February 21, Tokyo, Japan – Hithium made its first appearance at Smart Energy Week 2025 from February 19 to 21, showcasing its latest technological innovations and officially opening its new office in Tokyo, Japan. This strategic initiative underscores Hithium's commitment to advancing its global expansion strategy and strengthening long-term partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region.


Advanced Energy Storage Solutions Unveiled at the Exhibition

At the event, Hithium presented a range of cutting-edge energy storage solutions, demonstrating its technical leadership and innovation:

  • ∞Power 6.25MWh BESS: Built on Hithium's ∞Pack+ platform, this system incorporates proprietary high-capacity battery cells. It is compatible with 2-hour-specific 587Ah and 4-hour-specific 1175Ah high-capacity cells, allowing for flexible adaptation to various applications with enhanced maintainability and simplified replacement processes.
  • ∞Block 261kWh BESS: This solution features a compact, modular design and an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) that ensures reliable operation through real-time monitoring, multi-level protection, and cell balancing across diverse scenarios.
  • ∞Cell N162Ah Sodium-ion Battery: Operating at 25°C and 1P power conditions, this battery achieves a capacity retention rate of 94.2% after 4,000 cycles and is projected to deliver over 20,000 cycles at a state of health (SOH) of 70%.

During the event, Hithium also shared industry insights. Levi Liu, Director of Application Engineering for APAC & MEA, delivered a keynote speech titled "Noise Reduction Strategies and Practices in Energy Storage Systems." Liu emphasized that Hithium’s noise reduction approach involves comprehensive innovation, ranging from source control to propagation blocking and lightweight integration. Additionally, Liu highlighted that Hithium offers products compliant with Japanese transportation standards, aligning its solutions with local customer needs.


Establishing Local Presence: Japan Office to Foster Long-Term Collaboration

Coinciding with the exhibition, Hithium inaugurated its Japan office, signifying a major milestone in its global expansion efforts. The opening ceremony was attended by prominent company executives, including Steven Lu (Chairman of Hithium Green Energy), Lee Chen (General Manager, APAC), and Ben Bian (Sr. Director of After-sales Service). This development reflects Hithium's commitment to enhancing its presence in the Asia-Pacific market through localized operations.
